I don’t think this changes the narrative at all. KDH’s intention has always been to stay and Leicester City’s intention has always been to keep him. However, in terms of the clubs plans, the intention to avoid an FFP points deduction might trump the desire to keep their best player.

We almost got him apparently. Leicester decided it was more important to get promoted to the Premier League with the best player in the Championship playing for them and then to sort FFP issues out in June. Seems perfectly logical to me. 😐

I’m not disputing he is an excellent player and needs a good pre-season. However, I just don’t think he is a De Zerbi type player sadly. If De Zerbi leaves, I’d change my view.
