I was really looking forward to our tough run in after the international break but that last RDZ presser has taken the wind out of my sails and I now have a feeling of impending doom on and off the pitch
I guess the upward trajectory had to end sometime, I fear it may be now
If you can’t see the Poyet similarities yet, keep your head buried in that sand, don’t diss those that see what’s probably coming, just because you can’t
Poyet started using press conferences to tout himself, De Zerbi is now doing exactly the same but just a tad more subtly. No...
Is he a bit thick? I have no doubt at all that he was told the project when he arrived and if he thinks he can bully something else through by blackmail he doesn’t know TB or maybe he’s just stalling and has mentally cleared his locker and will be gone come season’s end?
Same, more whinging about injuries, fixture congestion and lack of backing in January incoming
If he continues in the vein he’s been in recently I kind of hope TB shows him the door.
I live in hope that the RDZ who arrived here revisits though
I have a feeling that we have a somewhat disgruntled manager who is quite possibly going to become even more disgruntled if he misses out on all the jobs he’s been touted for. I can see a falling out and departure before next season starts. Just another gut feeling. When I started this thread I...
Because it would have been made very clear to him when he arrived about how we operate, arrogant of him to think one decent 3/4 season gives him the right to make demands and then moan when it doesn’t happen. Maybe he should jump to a “big” club, he’d be sacked in less than six months if he...
TB deserves a manager who comes out with comments like Alonso has
"We have had a lot of speculation regarding my future," he said. "Until now we have had so many games, been pretty busy and focused, and I wanted to reflect during the international break and take a decision.
"The players...
I can’t imagine that psychologically they have been filled with confidence by the constant moaning from their manager complaining about fatigue and lack of options either. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes but RDZ has let himself down by spending half of his pre and post match interviews...
If the managers who have won nothing aren’t that keen to stay here why would a “top” manager see us as somewhere he wants to go. Face it, “top” managers expect “big” money signings, they won’t be getting that here. I think it’ll be another “something to prove” manager who’s won nothing who comes...
A quick look through X posts would suggest that the majority of Liverpool fans do not want RDZ and if they can’t get Alonso want Amorim all day long over RDZ
No, the dick said when he was under pressure at Chelsea “If I wanted an easy life I could have stayed at Brighton” Disrespectful in the extreme imo, he can do one. He was given so much leeway by TB as we struggled to win games we should have and our record at the time would have got him sacked...
Agreed but if it was a case of Potter to England and Southgate to the Albion, I’d take Potter back without a second thought to stop that happening
I wonder how RDZ will feel about being at best second choice from all these potential suitors. I can’t see Liverpool making him their first choice, even if we stick 5 past them either.
If RDZ does stay I really hope he stops the constant whinging, it’s wearing and very different from the Roberto who arrived here
Edit, it appears I have quoted the wrong person, apologies!
I guess this needs to be resolved before the summer window? Will TB go on the spending spree predicted in the summer window without RDZ signing a new contract or leaving. Or do we sign players regardless of who the manager will be when the season starts?
