I've had the misfortune to have been surrounded whilst fishing, by a pack of 40+ dogs on a 'scent hunt'. The dogs don't differentiate between an artificial scent, or any animal that gets in their path. The sound of rabbits and waterfowl being ripped apart by these dogs is not something I'd wish...
