Ah well, move on from this one. We've not played well, injuries and suspensions have crippled us, the players clearly didn't have enough in the tank to get a result today and the usual crap set piece defending and bullshit VAR hasn't helped. At least we didn't get hammered.

The defence will be totally influenced by what the keeper does at a set piece. If they know he isn't going to come to claim, they're going to position themselves totally differently, same with the attacking players.

Verbruggen commands his box and actually comes for crosses, Steele doesn't. There is a reason no top team in world football rotates goalkeepers.
And no, I didn't say he would 'stop them goals', I said rotating keepers is bloody stupid.
