There shouldn't be a banned dog list but an approved dog list. You want a breed added then it should pass some sort of test, too simple for people in charge to understand.

Dogs escape, kids open doors, a muzzled BiG dog will knock anyone for six but for an aged or child could be serious? People have a right to walk the streets without this sort of danger.

It's a surprise they didn't take their dogs with them? A hundred or so bullies walking impeccably behaved would have been a good show on how reliable the dogs are. What could have gone wrong?

Dogs can escape especially with the type of owner who keeps these type of dogs, muzzling is no good then! I would be surprised if anyone who keeps dogs like this are a fit and proper person!

There should not be a list of banned dogs. There should be a list of approved dogs. If a new strain comes along it has to be approved. There is always an idiot who will cross a cocker with a tiger and start breeding the damn things and we fuss about how many people it can attack before we put it...
