I do believe they use the same supplier as they have for years so maybe that's a supplier issue and not Piglets. They do season the top of every sausage roll but as i said everyone is hand made. The pies are not smaller you get the same filling as previous years. The reason they appear smaller...

As far as i am aware the recipe has not changed over the years. Size on the other hand may differ as every sausage roll is hand made.
