I think that actually on paper anyway should help matters as it’s unlikely you will be sitting anywhere near the guest based on availability (unless tactical seat gaps have paid off or you placed yourself in the gods from the outset) therefore you need to be very confident you know the person...
So now that the dust has settled, we’ve suffered and will take the positives, what have we learnt from this sale process for the final? (If we got there thanks @Guinness Boy)
Every man, women and child (accompanied) for themselves?
Just signed up my youngest (not for Wembley obviously) as expected a few years for a ST now and it made it explicitly clear that for 22/23 benefits it only covers home games for sharing, I expect this has since been added after the mixed messaging earlier
I said earlier purchase history should rank ahead of guests.
However to your point, there will be United fans with purchase history as well.
To avoid this they could say purchase history (>2 games in the last 2 years and different opposition etc) but then gets beyond the ease and cost of...
Well, they could do, and quite easily. They could email / sms everyone affected and allow a window dedicated to those affected before ST guest window is launched.
Seem quite a bit of this scenario on FB this morning with loads saying they’ve purchased A+ plus for 23/24 but told it’s valid for the remainder of the season
Seems to be a comms f*** up somewhere which isn’t particularly good based on what’s at stake
Would be the case if both in your name?
Out of interest why have you bought a membership if you are already a season ticket holder? It might be better if you wanted the welcome back to put it in someone else’s name that you could take on occasion whilst still benefiting?
I believe Albion+ works the same way as season ticket loyalty points in that each consecutive renewal you get more points, regardless of how many games you attend. You obvious get bonus points for attending games in the same way.
New found hype fans I guess will be in A+3 which is probably...
Assuming you set up a digital account to become a A+ member? You need to log in to your account to buy tickets so would probably do that quite quickly if I were you
Your current place won’t be representative of your place at 9am, you will be added a random place once they’ve cleared the system (to stop hoarders) - this could work to or against your advantage however
No different to where I sit in the lower west, the guy 2 meters across from me is paying an extra £125 a season
Saying that we are moving next season and our current seats were taken up with 30 mins of moving so maybe he’s moved as well!
Don’t know if it’s different for Albion plus but season ticket holders have to have their own individual email assigned to their own account.
I had to create a new email account for my son as a result
