    What they (Scottish fans) don't seem to realise is how different the levels are - The Rangers team that won the SPL a couple of years ago for example - they seem to have completely missed the fact that Rangers were greatly helped by a solid CD pairing of two lads who weren't quite good enough...

    If you're Exeter you travel a long way anyway! - Carlisle for example. Having said that, Carlisle's not even 2/3 of the way to Inverness - but that probably doesn't make a great deal of difference if you're flying. Don't suppose many fans would travel anyway (or to Carlisle for that matter!)...

    If they could hang on long enough to benefit from PL TV money - a bloody great big 'if' - they could be big......eventually. They do have a huge fan base, but not in the last 20 or 30 years have they had any football ability to back it up. The 1967-1970 Celtic team is still to my mind the best...
