Just watched an update on the BBC news - the only non-CCTV exit from where she was goes out onto a busy road and the police have traced 700 cars that went past that spot on the day in question.
If nothing comes from those enquiries and they cannot find her in the river, I am not sure what else...
The 16 year old who went into the river 45 years ago was found near Shard bridge about 7 miles downstream but he had been washed over the weir. Am not sure exactly where the weir is.
