I think I said it in the match thread but I thought that 4-4-2 was a bit of a mistake. It didn’t work against Liverpool with Mac and Gross in the middle, they got overrun till RDZ changed it, so I don’t know why he thought it would work with Gilmour and Gross.

Unless the club want him to go, just to get some game time, in the same way Mac Allister did.

Maybe he just doesn’t see a way into the first team? Caicedo and Mac Allister are obviously the first choice and tbh RDZ doesn’t seem that keen on changing things very much. I guess not appearing in that friendly against Villa today gives this story more credibility now. I can’t imagine getting no game time if he were staying around and it doesn’t look like RDZ will play him.

Ex Rangers. You can roundly file most of the stuff said by them in the bin. They write it for the likes of the Scottish Sun and Daily Record, who do nothing but publish made up Rangers news. Probably Rangers have some fractional sell-on clause for him, they certainly need the money.
