The whole weekend felt a bit of a farce TBH with the tyre issues, completely took away any scope for strategy calls and largely negated the contest TBH
We’ve seen before #2 drivers leaving Red Bull and it actually working out OK for them (Gasly an obvious example recently), I suspect the same will happen soon enough with Checo (assuming he wants to continue)
Thing is the Merc / Aston / Ferrari battle is quite good, and maybe McLaren could join that on the back of today’s showing, would be great if it wasn’t for Red Bull
It’s shaping up to be very poor, especially given we all know when it comes to it Red Bull will nobble Perez in favour of The Golden Child
The only race this season which has been entertaining was Australia, and that was mostly because they kept crashing into each other.
