    If they want to look outwith, then Will Rhodes at Warwickshire would be an option. Quality all-rounder, and Warwicks won the title under him last year. Mind you, they could recall Brearley. Wouldn't make much difference to the top order.

    I do like the mentality of Lees. He has the patience to bat long. There are similarities with Alistair Cook, in fact I'd say his technique is slightly better. It's the fluency in scoring strokes he falls short on.
