At the time I thought it was a bit of a risk but on balance a good bit of business. With hindsight I was wrong. And whilst we will never know, I do wonder how many points, league places and in turn EPL prize money, Burns departure will ultimately cost. Maybe the 13 million won’t be worth 13...
As I said in another thread, to play our seemingly preferred formation of 3 at the back we need 5 or 6 who can play Potterball in this position. Selling White and Burn and not replacing them, either with new signings or from the u23, now seems a poor decision.
