No idea if this has already been posted.
Taking the blame and making no excuses whilst giving credit to an excellent Burnley on the day
Games like this happen, I think Tuesday’s high energy game coupled with Burnley’s fighting for their lives attitude and bounces of the ball at crucial moments...
I’ll have to re watch, I thought he’d have caught it and if you get it right it kils the danger dead. What’s not to like when your defence is being bullied?
If he called for the ball Duffy should have left it. Looked to me he’d have got there. Senior pros should have more control, I think that incident caused Sanchez to lose concentration. Never right to shove your own player because he has a moan at you. This is not park football.
Disappointing...
Out thought, out battled, outclassed and lucky to only concede three. Argie Mac had a blinder, the rest had what is known as a bad day at the office.
Shit happens, we move on
Bottom of the table is looking interesting though
Oh, and if I never see Kevin Friend reffing one of our games again...
Except you are so very wrong, all our wins this season have come against teams below us
As it happens I agree with you, I knew Ronaldo would score and I can see us losing today, my post was actually serious
Whilst sitting comfortably in 9th in the PL. I knew GP was good but I’m now moving towards “Miracle man” as we continue to be the go to team to break non scoring stats, whilst having our best ever season
Too many bad memories of Burnley at home
Equaliser in the last minute (twice I think?) very dodgy decisions by a ref that gifted them a 3-1?
I won’t relax until the final whistle even if we are 3-0 up as we go into added time
