I'm sure I remember the club stating that Khedra and Van Hecke are staying put at Blackburn for the rest of the season. On balance, I think I'd rather recall Clarke (if we can) and give Roberts 6 months experience on loan somewhere; doesn't look like happening though.

I thought Cochrane would be coming back eventually to be a LB for when we were playing a back four - we didn't have an out and out LB - BDB and Solly were WBs, but not bona fide LBs. That, of course, was before we signed Cucurella!

Seems a shame (and yes, I know sentiment doesn't come into it, but .............). He's enjoying a good season at Hearts; they appear to like him - and the fans at least would rather like to keep him (if they can afford him). If - and only if - we feel the need to recall someone, it would be...

Agree - as long as he goes for our price, not Newcastle's.

We know Webster can play LCB perfectly well, so we can get by with him plus Veltman, Dunk and Duffy. I'm sure Roberts could play in a back three with two of them if requiredm but I think his development would be better served by a loan.Presumably his Sheffield Wednesday loan has been put on hold...
