Seen them a couple of times now, assault on the senses I'd describe it. Post Ryan off the new album is an absolute banger. My mum has remarked similarly to when I've played it in here presence.

Only just caught up on a few on these, and I did enjoy this quite a lot, but I did wonder why it wasn't released with Radiohead, it reminded me of Hail to the Thief at times, its a decent effort though.

I saw them at Green Man this year and they were fanstastic, they were actually recommended to me to by the squid lead singer himself at the festival. Really good post punk music, gave me a huge Slint vibe.

Of the last two years I think the Shame Album last year is above it for me and maybe Blue Weekend by Wolf Alice, but definitely best this year by far.

While I'm a big fan, I can imagine if you were lukewarm on them, they're constant pushing on radio 6 would get annoying.

I think being on FIFA is huge for them, when I first started getting into music, my favourite songs were always fifa tracks, Bloc Party - Helicopter, Club Foot - Kasabian for example, even more modern stuff like a couple of royal blood tracks.

I don't mind it, when I was 18 I used to go to the haunt it seemed almost weekly to see a gig, so it has that nostalgia, I've seen some great gigs there, but I think I prefer Concorde or The Dome or even smaller venues like Green Door
