I agree. I think the issue was more his lack of discretion and being a bit flash…..when he should have maybe kept his head down and been a bit more humble given the lifeline Everton were offering.

Can’t say I have ever warmed to him. Things like flying his own hair dresser to the WC and making a documentary about it, or driving a blinged up Rolls Royce to your Everton debut turn me off players.
