Comms is the issue here though, really. As dazzer6666 says, if the club had taken 5700 tickets and stated that before the on-sale date, everyone would have understood and purchased accordingly. And the new comms issue is that the club won't admit it made a mistake...

I think people are forgetting how hard it usually is to get to see Brighton away - certainly a game in London. They're exclusively for STHers, unless you fiddle it. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a core 2000 which go to every London away game. That's leaving scraps for everyone else. So...

FA Cup matches have been spread over a full weekend - so TV companies can extend coverage - for several years now. Man Utd v Boro is on Friday night this season. And we played at Old Trafford on a Saturday night a few seasons' back. You have to point the finger at the clubs agreeing the deal...

Big enough to be chosen for TV, though. ITV were never going to clear their lucrative Saturday schedule (Masked Singer; Ant & Dec) for a fourth round FA Cup tie. Pulling a million or so viewers onto a minor channel would be a big win for them, I'm sure.

So it's overcrowded but "spread out"? There's "no sense of community" because there are many communities of non-English speakers? Okaaaaay.....
