    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

And to be fair, you likely know more than most. Tickets were announced on Thurs 13 Jan around lunchtime I think for most people. Up to 9k available. Tickets went on sale 9am Friday 14 Jan to all STs and 1901, with Albion+ members 9am Mon 17 Jan when it was sold out pretty much immediately...

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

The other possibility is they never had any intention of taking the 3300 tickets in the first place because they simply didn't want to be left with any. They went with 9k in comms because they know that's the FA rules and why risk a bit of a backlash on only taking 5700 when they probably felt...

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

He doesn't have to blame anyone. He is a spokesperson for the club. A simple 'hands up we got this wrong, are communications were misleading to some fans and we really apologise some may have missed out on the belief more tickets would be available'. It's not like it's a huge pride swallowing...

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

The club have said they knew it was 5700 or the full 9000, so took the 5700 to start with. So their communication wasn't entirely accurate at all, and did deceive anyone who read it that up to 9000 would be available, not that an initial 5700 would be taken and that might well be the limit of it.

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

I'm not sure the club taking 5700 tickets is the issue, the issue is the club not communicating in anyway whatsoever it maybe limited to 5700 from an allocation of 9000. That is shocking really because fans with STs or a high number of loyalty points have waited because they could buy tickets...

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

They have responded on the club website. No apology for unclear communications, misleading initial press releases about number of tickets, or that they misunderstood what Spurs had given them. Personally, I would have thought a bit of a direct apology to fans unable to get tickets would head...

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

Our allocation of 5700 tickets for the Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie at Spurs next month has now sold out. While all our season-ticket holders and MyAlbion+ members have had the chance to purchase tickets, we requested additional tickets from Spurs but, as their home tickets are on sale, at...

There you go, 5700 or 9000, from the horses mouth. :moo:

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

I wonder if because it's the upper tier whether Spurs said you either take the whole 9k or 5.7k - i.e. if you take the upper tier you have to take all of it or none of it. I don't think we'd sell 9k, maybe 7k or something given how well tickets have sold.

I might watch it on an illegal feed, just so they don't get me on their viewing figures!! :lolol:

I'm quite happy to point the finger at all of them. I won't be going. That said, they know fans will go no matter what, we are the ultimate consumer group. We hate the term customers, because any business in the world would love customers that can be served up shit on toast and queue up to get it.

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

Cambridge v Luton. It’s obviously an extra slot, but still 8pm just so a minor channel can see if it works for them. Never mind the fans though.

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

Why on earth schedule it for 8pm then? 5.30pm would surely be the slot to have on a Saturday night, it's worked for ages in the PL. Why suddenly is 8pm on a Sat being thrown in the mix? Barmy.

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

I completely agree with you, but even though this is the FA Cup, the FA make the deal with the TV companies and the clubs sign up to the terms and conditions upon entry to the competition. You either don't enter, or you have your fixtures given to you. I doubt Spurs are that happy for their fans...

    [Albion] Spurs - Sat 5th Feb 8pm

I'm pretty much at my limit for how the TV scheduling continues to run roughshod over fans again and again and again. ITV4 – are you ****ing kidding me!? 8pm on a Saturday night. It's only going to get worse as foreign markets start to make demands for their time zones. It's a piss take.
