    But he'd potentially be a uk resident for tax purposes as he'd be working for a Uk based business. Anyway sounds complex, but these complex rules didn't stop us signing Alexis M and Moisés C from South American clubs so assume we know what we are doing and this lad doesn't want to pay his taxes.

    So we insist, quite rightly, to pay him for his 20% ownership(roughly £1.0m) in England where he will be earning a living, thereby meaning that he will have to pay English tax of circa £400k.
