Thanks. For various reasons I stay away from the streams, even though I realise many people are fine with them. I will have a go at finding the match on iPlayer tomorrow though.
Final, semi-finals, two quarter finals - and five (near secret!) others, they said. Strange they're so reticent about them though - if Sky only had ten to show, they'd be shouted all over SSN anf TalkSport every 5 minutes for 48 hours before kick iff!
Only appears to show what's on live now (bowls) or what's already been on - like two of the ten AFCON matches they promised us but didn't publicise which ones, where and when. I might have been able to watch them live had I been fortunate enough to tune in to iPlayer just as it was happening...
On Virgin, that's known as the red buffering channel! No publicity though - nothing anywhere on BBC website or programme listing telling you this match is on live on ....................... wherever it is.
Read that some of the AFCON games would be shown live free to air on the BBC (two quarter finals, the semis and the final - plus five others). Has anybody found one of these and watched it on the BBC yet? They certainly aren't being widely publicised!
Any tips about which matchesm and just where...
Why not? He can probably afford to buy it now! Any punter who had a tenner on a 'Match to be restarted and a red card after the final whistle' acca at what - 1000 to 1? - or more -will surely be very grateful!
Another thought from Ella's game for Gabon - their opponents. Who the heck are Comoros? - I've never heard of them. Where is Comoros? Did it use to be called something else, has it recently been invented, or what?
To be fair, the official AFCON thread was created specifically so that anybody putting 'afcon' in the search button would find it easily, no trawling required. Best merge the two threads - then have specific match threads for future matches?
Interchangeable, several words in common use. No need for anyone to set out to make trouble over that.
Looking at the BBC pages (see link below), for example, it would be helpful if more details were given than just the surnames - perhaps they could define them by parent clubs? It's likely to...
Nothing to do with fitness or loss of timing. We play Chelsea on the same day that Senegal play their final group match - so even without Covid he wouldn't be playing against us anyway.
He's gone to the AFCON so he wouldn't be playing for Chelsea against us anyway, would he?
Also, are we going to be able to see any of this tournament on mainstream TV, or will it only be on the likes of Sky, BT and dodgy streams?
