Agree with the consensus. Get him to England 1st Jan, recall permitting, get him training with the squad for a couple of weeks, to see where he's at then send him to Norwich or Bristol City or somewhere for the rest of the season.

There's nothing inherently wrong with loaning a player to a team at the wrong end of the league. It teaches them a certain skillset
