Although I can never shed the sheer joy and equal measure of embarrassment when someone started "Give us a B", "Beeeee", "R" "Rrrrrrr" and at some point cocked up the spelling of BRIGHTON .... rarely happened but always a funny moment!
I'd disagree, The Emirates & Old Trafford were very touristy, I haven't got that at Anfield. I just feel we really lack atmosphere and any cohesion in terms of addressing it, we have pockets of fans singing their own renditions and we just don't generate the noise or build an atmosphere.
Whilst I can see both sides of the argument, the Amex has never had an atmosphere against it's the same as everywhere else, I have to say I fall in the lack of atmosphere camp. I've always enjoyed the big match atmosphere at some away grounds, especially "that" Boro' game where the home fans...
Does brand "Premier League" want images of hoolies shouting and gesticulating "who are ya!" at each other or do they want a more sterile, less confrontational approach?
