Yes I’m still here, and would rather not go through the 67/68 flu again as I was extremely ill with it, unconscious for three days and ill for weeks.
Btw my masks were reasonably cheap from Amazon £5 for a box of 50. Good value imo.
Having already had Hong Kong flu and Asian flu very badly in my lifetime, I’d rather avoid getting ill.
Strangely, the Swine flu epidemic only affected younger people so I looked after my granddaughter when she was very ill. It was said at the time it was a similar variant to the 67/68 epidemic...

Edit to add, the virus stays alive on hard surfaces for several hours. It’s easy to rub your eyes without thinking, and transmit the virus that way. I still wash my hands regularly and use hand gel.

Correct in your opinion. I have been in France over the past two weeks where masks are mandatory or 100€ fine, and Covid passes checked in every cafe/restaurant. Their cases are lower than the U.K.
Who wears any old bit of cloth? I certainly don’t. I bought a box online high BFE, and PFE filtration triple layer masks.
I wear a mask to protect others from my germs.
Serious question. How do you know? 175 people died yesterday. We don’t know who they were or where they were, but they were still people with families and friends.

Why on earth would I protest against those rules? I’ve had more vaccinations and immunisations in my 70 years than I care to remember. Some of which have contributed to those diseases being almost eradicated.

I’m on holiday in France. The NHS Covid pass is accepted here as a Pass Sanitaire. We’ve had to show it at cafes, restaurants and at the campsite to be able to use the caravan.
If you aren’t double vaxxed, then you have to show regular negative tests.
