Why don’t the stewards scan Covid passes to check they’re valid though? It takes seconds, more reliable than a human and much quicker….this will at weed out those who are using an expired pass.

That’s a real pisser for overseas fans (and anyone who cannot legitimately have the vaccine)…..given it’s unlikely we can use our EU Covid passes either.

mRNA technology isn’t new.

The time it took to get the vaccines approved was shorter, but I’m not aware the various clinical trials were actually shorter.

All the approved vaccines went through the same testing as other drugs. They’re no more experimental than any other drug which has just come on the market.

It is a bit frustrating that my EU Covid passport can get me into the UK but currently not into the AMEX. It’s also in English so there’s no issue with language. I know two other people in my situation so I’ll post something on here and see if there’s anyone else.

Have the club actually said they expect this to end? If so, this is shit for people like me , as the club don’t recognize my EU Covid pass and have told me to get a LFT. I know others in a similar boat….as you do.

As an aside, when are the government going to announce their plans? They’re supposed to be in place by the end of month and there’s not much time left for businesses to adjust.

If they have a negative LFT they can get in, can’t they?
