He certainly has good PR advice. He will endear himself to the Chelsea faithful like he did with us. Crying and badge kissing will be the order of the day.
The football pantomime rolls along :lolol:
. . . or we understand how football works and that our whole model of success hinges on the fact that the players we bring in are able to move on to bigger and better things should the opportunity arise (as long as the numbers work out of course).
He would have been sold the club on the basis...
We have made a lot of money this off season.
Does anyone have any insight into Tony Bloom paying himself back some of the money he has ploughed into the club?
Surley this is a good moment to recover some of his outlay?
Not this!
This!
Can't see that he has said or done much wrong. Obviously, he wants to play at a higher level for more money and probably shouldn't have put a transfer request in but I won't hold it against him, if he stays or if he goes. We are a premier league club and this stiff id part...
I love the word Cakeism :lolol:
I also agree that the buyback clause should be banned by FIFA. Especially when Chelsea have poached and hoarded so many young players for so long.
Still don't feel comfortable about using one deal to make another though (although as GB said there isn't really...
I am a little uncomfortable about the idea that the club is holding this deal over Chelsea's head to get what they want with the Colwill deal.
To me they are either part of the same deal or they or not. It smacks a little of having one's cake and eating it. I also worry that if it goes wrong...
I think that although a couple of big players have been sold we have a replacement for Bissouma waiting in the wings. This will be one of McAllister, Muwepu or Cadeido. We also have Alzate and the Polish lad (or did he go on loan again). Anyway I think we are well stocked in central midfield . ...
They seem to have changed this model somewhat. FFP? the money tap has been turned off?
I find it quite ironic that they have been instrumental in skewing the market in modern football. And not they complain that prices are too high.
How realistic is Football Manager in these cases?
Is a price discussed with the player like in the game? i.e. has a discussion been had about an acceptable bid before Cuc can move? I had kind of assumed it had. But then the transfer request (if it actually happened) seems to suggest that this...
I suppose that getting involved I this kind of nonsense has always been the plan. We knew he was going and these are the negotiation strategies that are used. We just get the best deal we can, Bloom and the others are the best people to get the best deal.
All the tears, hearts and badge kissing...
I found the badge kissing a bit off at the time. It really doesn't mean much.
Still it is fair enough he wants this chance. I say we still what happens.
Looks like it might be true. Not sure how much difference it makes though, it has sounded like there was an agreement to sell anyway. City just need to agree the price.
