    But if the future value is less than potential market value it is a bad deal. If Lamptey has 2 good seasons he is worth more than Ben White. Same as this lad

    No I wouldn’t. If Lamptey can solve his fitness issues, then surely he is a £40M-£50M player like White after a couple of seasons ? Oh and Lamptey had 6 months left on his desk vs 1 season for this lad
