Don’t think I’d want him for that. Wish we’d got him for the £5m or whatever SCC paid. Still, as the saying goes with the Albion these days: ‘Win lots, lose some.’
Not sure how buy backs work but surely it would be breaking the contract if he didn’t go back? I guess that would become a legal matter with the clubs as you’re right you can’t force a player to move back thinking about it…
I think the whole thing sounds like rubbish and can’t imagine Chelsea being in for him but who knows…
Also if it’s a buy back and they did it, the player doesn’t have a choice..!
Not true at all?
‘However, following a meeting with Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl during which Livramento was promised instant first-team football at St Mary's, he made his choice.’...
We were close to getting him but Lamptey looked the next big thing which prob played a part in him joining the Adkins diet. Will cost more now but I really like what I’ve seen pre injury - a bit like Lamps 😬🤦🏻♂️
For the right price, yes. He didn’t go for huge amounts (£5m maybe?) so wouldn’t pay more than £15m personally given they’ve just gone down and he’s just back from injury.
I’d like him. He looked up to Lampteys level pre injury. We were in for him before (bet he regrets his choice now). Depends on the injury recovery I guess.
