Tony doesn't do release clauses at all so I doubt he'd do a buyback :shrug:

We have a budget which will have an upper limit - so if it is looking more likely that the striker signing needs more funds allocated than anticipated, then signings like this and a new central defender could be abandoned.

This coincides with the cold water being poured on signing a new central defender. Maybe we are diverting more of the money to the striker fund and it's just a striker and left (wing) back we are focusing on now.

Well we wait and see. I read somewhere a while back that we weren't interested in selling or loaning Karbo out but things change of course.
