It is number 2, but that is not my argument. I am thinking: we have taken similar punts on this range of striker before: Maupay, Ali J, Locadia and Andone. All similar pricewise, and it is clear to me that we are not going to get much better than the better of those 4 players for our money...

Indeed. Maybe controversial but I am fairly relaxed about our striking options. You are not going to guarantee 15 goals a season unless you fork out 50m and break the wage structure, so any signing is always a gamble. The people excited and hoping we get this bloke are mad - as if signing...
