Yes this thread is one of the strangest, funniest and most ridiculous threads on here. What’s that got to do with it?!
Edouard has never had anything to do with us as a club so why would it be typical Albion for him to score against us?
A player who we’ve never owned and has nothing to do with us scores against us, why would that be typical Albion?
That’s just like nearly every goalscorer against nearly every team isnt it?
Very funny thread.
Really not sure about Edouard and Anderson - think they’re both potentially a waste of money - but apart from that, I think Palace have made some good signings and freshened up their squad as they needed to.
But you and some other posters on this laughable thread were peddling the guff from the Scotch papers and that idiot Castles telling us we’ve made at least three different bids in the last month, despite pretty categoric denials from Naylor and Owen! What’s happened to those bids?
I agree he wasn't as bad as made out on here. In fact, I think he made a more productive contribution to us in one and a half seasons than Jahanbakhsh made in three seasons.
But Ali J was nicer and didn't have obvious interests outside of football.
It’s about all clubs across Europe. I was talking about the Premier League and the big clubs in particular. Clubs in France and Spain etc are very different anyway as they have a genuine financial crisis, not just caused by the pandemic. Come back to me in 5 weeks and see how much Premier League...
Maybe for some of the smaller clubs yes but the big clubs in this country will be spending as much as usual. The Euro’s has only just finished and we’ve also still got 5 weeks to go.
Yes this. United already spending big, City trying to sign Kane and Grealish, Liverpool already signed Konate and linked with other big money signings, matter of time before Chelsea make a big move if they can’t get Haaland this summer. Even Villa have spent big again already.
It’s been...
And nothings changed - it's still a funny, desperate and deluded thread, nothing will change that whatever happens!
And anyway, there is absolutely no more tangible evidence that it is going to happen so I'm not sure what point you're making?
Really?! This whole thread stinks of desperation! And all for a player who, whilst his movement and touches look good in the MTL, ultimately has scored less goals than Maupay did for Brentford in a stronger division.
And the delusion is pretty evident in some of the very funny theories put...
Not the best example as in that case we just got lucky rather than being particularly skilled in negotiations. If they'd accepted the offer we'd have wasted an extra £15m on a player who has hardly featured for us over 3 years. Deportivo then getting relegated was a bonus.
Our current striker options must really be limited for people to so desperately cling on to the forlorn hope that we might be signing a fairly average striker from the MTL who clearly isn’t joining us! [emoji23]
Former Albion player Anders Dreyer sent off for Midtjylland against Celtic. Both teams down to 10 men now.
1.1 with 15 minutes to go, not great for Celtic.
