I think both players will see the situation positively, Playing for Brighton is increasingly a good way to be in the shop window. It won't be harmful to their careers to play for us for another season. Neither of them will be worried about being seen as less attractive players in a season's time.

All of this. Arsenal have to make bids as they know if United/Chelsea/City show an interest, the player will quickly be out of their budget. I suspect Tony will be more than happy to reject offers all summer long. White's value is only going one way in my opinion.
