[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

You actually have a dig at CH in more issues than that - In fact in one post you even tried to insinuate that he had virtually destroyed Jose Izquierdo's career by playing him when he was not fully fit before I had to point out that a player does not allowed to play without a Doctor...

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

Its not all just about money spent - The big expensive Loanees who propped the team up last season like Christie and Knockhaert had been departed. In total 13 players had left the Club and he had been promised they would be replaced. Up until 5pm on 31st August no one had been signed apart...

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

They were ,1st Club to approach him after leaving Brighton. He just wasn't ready at that point to take another job .

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

Who harassed me ? One or two posters got on my nerves occasionally but for the most part I got on with most people. I think one poster once reported to Mods for something I said to him but for the most part I try to interact politely with everyone.

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

Chris couldn't give a flying shite about money so he never went to Forest for the money. Sadly most of the Club's he should have gone to had approached him when he was still not ready to get back into Management. I think he he looked at the Squad from the outside looking in and thought that...

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

Several Mercenaries were brought in during the Summer in their 30s who can't even get in the side. I mean who gives 3 year contracts to players on the way down at that age who have an attitude and think turning up that they are doing the club a favour. And some of the dross brought in from...

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

It's actually a poor squad. The best players are the players he brought in on loan. With the exception of Worrall an the keeper Samba. He is one of the best keepers outside the PL. No chance of play offs. Having to keep clean sheets to pick up points. Practically the exact same as he had to do...

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

Yes but it needs to start changing in January so that there isn't such a big overhaul in the Summer. Too Many players in the squad. You can't organise training sessions effectively with over 30 players in the squad. So it needs to be whittled down to a manageable level.

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

O' Neil and Keane together was a strange one I grant you. Maybe that's why they went with the present incumbent. Perhaps some respite from conflict was necessary. People at FAI are really nice people to d/w especially ones on the Admin side of things

No But if you want to build a squad capable of going up next year. The ones currently there are not them

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

All you know is what you've read on the internet. You quote Martin O'Neal in your post as a previous example. There was a lot more to his departure than a Standard Sacking of a Football Manager. None of which would ever equate to circumstances at present.

And you are privy to discussions he may have had ? Thought not .

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

He will get them sorted. Too many poor players discarded by other Clubs for a reason. Comparisons with Brighton are so uncanny. Loads of poor players who had arrived on big wages before his arrival that don't fit the way he wants to play and who are not capable of adapting I don't think...

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

How many Millions have been paid via TV for first reachng the PL and then staying there another two years ? You are a disingenuous pr!ck with you're failure to recognise what Chris helped achieve at Brighton. Not only financially but there will be a group of Brighton fans between the ages of...
