[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

WOW! Just seen that Forest are now 8th, that is some turnaround

Takes all sorts  I want to see Locadia get a few games, which some would see as just as mad :lolol:

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

They are 100% right about his stubbornness of not changing his philosophy, at PL level anyway. There were strong rumours that this cost him the backing of the players by his last few months here. I seem to remember Bruno saying that “sometimes the manager needs to listen to his players” I have...

Poor CH, it does seem he has walked into a job that is a poisoned chalice.

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

Disrespectful analysis of a man who was never anything other than a true professional in all his other jobs imo. I think it’s more likely that he has been sold a pup and was promised strengthening this season, not a mass exodus of experienced players. I struggle to think of a football manager...

I struggle to believe that CH is enjoying this in any way whatsoever. Sad

There are more than a few on here who will take that type of football as long as it brings results. I too hated the style even when we did get results! Depends if you want to be entertained or if that is not as important as winning, however ugly it is. Playing that way and losing is the pits though

IF they are that light of decent players it could be a blessing so early in the season, another club in trouble in the Championship will be in for him shortly imo. Needs to pick his next club very carefully though.

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

TB gave him the rest of the season and it was grim but effective. We did have some decent players and no I didn’t suggest it was a bad move at the time but then I have no insight into players at Forest, I don’t watch them, I assume CH did before he signed so he should have known if they had...

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

Big club, bad choice by CH. We all know he is an excellent Championship manager but without the players willing to run through brick walls and buy into his system he is fecked, especially as Forest don't seem to have many decent players anyway. Love him to turn it around but patience is not a...

I fear for CH, 1-2 down to Blackburn with a couple of minutes to go and rooted in the bottom 3 already with no points

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

I was shocked that CH was sacked in the way he was but I totally get it, I just didn’t think Bloom would do it in such a cold hearted way. Having said that I was of the opinion that he needed to go but that takes absolutely nothing away from what he did for this club. CH found the Holy Grail and...

Seems CH is struggling at Forest, I hope they turn it around before the Greek sacks him. Keep The Faith Forest

[Football] Chris Hughton: 'It’s a good feeling to be the manager of a big club'

Any club that has won the equivalent of the Champion’s League twice is a big club in my eyes. Leeds put themselves forward as a big club and how many times have they won it? City? Arsenal? Chelsea? Nope they haven’t done as well as Forest Forest have played 20 games in the equivalent of the...
