It is, but everyone is supposed to fill one in case you were in a high-risk country prior to Germany. I guess it’s to prevent people doing what Boris’ father did i.e.dodge direct flight bans by routing via a low-risk county. Well, obviously it’s for Cummings big data needs but hopefully you get...
I took a fight from Berlin to Gatwick yesterday. A few observations: a few months back when borders started re-opening EasyJet announced a busy schedule for September with 4 flights a day. Over time this reduced to a single flight. Flight was half full when it took off. A guy was in a hurry to...
Received notification today that my (one-stop) October Ibiza flight is now on it’s 3rd schedule change. Think they’ll be a bit more of this between now and flight day.
Good to know as I have an EasyJet flight in a few weeks. Thanks. I presume this is an EasyJet directive as opposed to an Italian one?
Hope your trip works out well.
I wonder if a way around this is with health insurance? Health insurance is compulsory where I live, and mine is international ie if I keel over anywhere on my travels I’m covered. At the end of the day, an ICU bed is an ICU bed no matter where it is so health, unlike travel insurance, will...
The greater priority is clearly testing and tracing and testing. The government are struggling to do this...so there’s absolutely no way they will be banging on a door to check Joe Bloggs is still inside on day 13 of his return from Magaluf....no chance.
I’m not sure how much sympathy I will get, but please spare a few minutes for me, who is one of the people who has to repeatedly try and explain the U.K. government’s increasingly baffling decisions to .the wider world. All I wanted tonight was a few quiet beers.
I do support the green tax which Fiona mentions in the same article. No problem with that. I guess with the middle-seat proposal there will be a reduction in fuel needed for each flight as well? It all helps
:lolol:
EasyJet flights are now carbon neutral https://edition.cnn.com/2019/11/19/business/easyjet-flights-carbon-neutral/index.html And adding worthingseagull123’s no-children theory to the mix I reckon I’m in the black when it comes to my carbon footprint. You can have a drive to the...
Thank you. I must admit I haven’t been keeping up with foreign travel recently; I’ve been too busy keeping an eye my local favourite bars and restaurants this weekend. I’ll get onto this ASAP.
I guess the government want to force you to stay in the U.K. and spend your money there? Didn’t the health guy say that he didn’t expect anyone to have summer holidays? Nothing else makes any sense.
I don’t think anyone is saying it’s a 100% fool proof solution....but it offers a compromise and more protection than current seats. And this balance will be needed if you want some semblance of normality.
