    [Football] Premier 20/21st April

Everyone to their own, but my approach to top 6 matches means that I don't explode at CH/the players when we lose. I watch some others build up all their hopes of a result over ManC, Chelsea or Spuds, then launch into a couple of days of Hughton or Muzza bashing, when the billionaires beat us.

    6. Cardiff got unnecessarily cocky for 5 days, then lose at home and so knocked off of their twattish perch.

Even if we were safe, I’d love Cardiff to go down. Always disliked the club, their many scummy fans and always Wnk Warnock. And in answer to someone’s pro-Warnock rhetorical question today ..... No, I would hate it Warnock was our manager.

W Spurs will outclass us, sorry, but we’ll still stay up.

They seemed really big on Cardiff, when they produced nowt special, with several clear cut chances to Liverpool. Had to turn the sound down a tad, to avoid the preplanned narrative. Please just comment on the game in front, rather than the big picture.

This. Until Liverpool scored, Cardiff were excessively talked up on this thread as doing something we could never do. In reality all they did was match our two performances against Liverpool .... then it unravelled. It was quite Hughton-esque. There was no amazing Warnock game plan that...

I think you have. Are you a Corbynista, who was annoyed that I dare question him? If not, I apologise.

Whether it be politics or football, you follow and criticise me. I feel honoured that a middle aged man behind his keyboard has a weird infatuation.

The stadium’s emptying out. On Tuesday the players and fans together celebrated their staying up. As good as in the bag.

Even Manc Neville now saying a pen “Two mistakes by Morrison, he lost his composure. The foul as he tried to atone for his initial mistake”.

You just described all the PL forwards, even Sir Harry Kane does it every time.

I thought Morrison would cheat with a wrestling/rugby challenge, no attempt to get the ball, and was right. A foul anywhere on the pitch.

Tactic - long balls to an isolated Niasse, now Zohore, who’s surrounded by defenders. When CH uses that tactic in a loss, he gets slaughtered.

True. Wouldn’t it be good it commentary teams clearly called out the likes of players with fake head injuries? The blatant ones. Anyway ... :wanker:Warnock can’t blame the officials for opening goal. :albion2:

Aren’t Cardiff doing exactly what we did against Liverpool twice this season - closing them down with 9 men behind the ball and rare forays upfield?

The Amex win, their single victory in ages, has changed the crowd. I’ve watched Cardiff home games this year and there are always swathes of empty seats. Not today.
