Will be interesting to see the turnout to an event where they have to roll up their sleeves and do something compared to the “days off school” for the marches. I really hope the kids show up for this, it will do a lot to silence the naysayers.

To be fair, I do share that concern. It doesn’t stop me doing all I can but yes, corporations and governments need to be forced into change.

Of course there is huge merit in questioning science. Question away. Most people have done so, and in questioning and looking at the evidence have come to the conclusion that man is having a catastrophic effect on the climate.

We know human activity is destroying ecosystems. We know it is changing the climate. To believe otherwise is stupidity of the highest order.

There is no debate to be had on whether it’s happening or not, only how we deal with it. People with your attitude have been left far behind.

Worryingly now increasingly in the press one hears phrases such as “the world must learn to adapt”. It’s becoming accepted wisdom that climate change can’t and won’t be reversed and that energy and money must now be directed towards measures to adapt to a different world. We left it too late.

I don’t think anyone would be wise to protest anything in China. The U.K. has influence on a global scale and it’s a far more worthwhile endeavour to try and get our government to use that influence than to travel to China, have your protest fall on deaf ears and most likely get arrested...

Been gluing themselves to everything today. I imagine glue that is strong enough to glue a person to an object is probably pretty toxic to the environment. Still, good for them I say.
