So, Boxing Day was so grim so I was glad I had a ticket to see the latest version of Little Women.
I expected the DOYs to be empty-ish. No public transport, permit parking, pissing down, but nope, it was packed and a really good atmosphere.
Thought the film was great, loved the way it mixed up...
Went to DOYs to get a ticket for The Lighthouse and it's sold out (yeah, I need to get one of those smart 'phone things), they are showing it again on the same night at 11.30pm
I caught the train over to Worthing yesterday morning to see BAIT at the Connaught Studio at 11.30am. I got there too early, the door was still locked, but a smartly dressed elderly man came very, very slowly down the stairs to let me in. He smiled as he told me he hadn't even switched the...
I went to see Inna De Yard yesterday, it has great reviews, but I was (dare I say this) disappointed.

Thanks for the reminder, just got a ticket at DOYs, somebody's taken 'my' seat but never mind :)
Martin Sheen suffered a heart attack during filming and some scenes were covered by his brother Joe
I went last night. The D of Ys was about a third full. I got there early as I enjoy watching the 'Look at me walking up and down, pretending I can't find my seat' entertainment. I had half a bottle of wine in a water bottle (yeah, classy I know).
Really enjoyed the film. Oleg Ivenko was...
I went to the evening showing (Saturday). TBH I'm not a fan of historical romps. I only went to see Saoirse and how she would play a character that didn't have much of a life (just my opinion). I thought it was a great film, not at all leaden. I don't agree with you about the actress who...
