Any recruitment team is doing well if they get 60% hits 40% misses. Most players will fit into an "OK" category between the 2 extremes. I think we exceed this yardstick quite comfortably. Kemy, Elvis and Locadia aside, we have done pretty well all in all.

Not really. £3million accounts amortization loss + maybe £2million wages is a hefty write-off. We must at least try to offset some of that with a loan fee and partial wage payment.

Just this season left on his contract. No need to worry about selling him now, just need to get a loan fee and a chunk of his wages paid. There must be some Championship club desperate to sign a striker.

Compensation for Hoffenheim needs to be factored into the fee we get.
