    Nobody is suggesting that but they could send a double entry code one to the e mail address via the affected computer to which you reply and then a 2nd one sent to the registered telephone number as a text. ps found a site on line Lazesoft Recovery which say they can do it with a free download.

    It cannot be illegal as Microsoft said that they would provide a download for me for $149 that would enable me to do it. So there must be a legal way of doing it. Evern re install wouldnt happen without the password. I am surprised that they do not have a forgotten password facility like...

    GREAT NEWS I put the old harddrive back in and it accepted Windows 7 immediately so presumably a fault with the hard drive I bought so will contact the sellers. The only problem is that the old drive only has C Drive 496 MB free of 55.9GB and D Drive 911 free MB of 18.49GB I presume...
