Makes sense if Montoya signs though, surely? It means Montoya can play full back and Bernardo could go CB IF (big if) we do need a 4th choice CB before Jan.

Why do people not get this? Seems quite straight forward to me. A loan back gets the deal over the line as it buys Wigan time to get a replacement in. In the mean time we've got Dunk/Duffy and Balogun for the first four months of the season. Should we need a 4th choice (unlikely) then we've got...
