[Albion] Percy Tau - SIGNED on a 4 year deal - The Lion Returns. RRROOOAAAARRRRR

Not sure this story , with presumably TB or a source close to TB as its source, could be any clearer: "The deal is totally independent of Albion and an extension of Bloom's personal portfolio of investments. There will be no link between the Seagulls and Union SG at playing or boardroom...

Yes. Agreed. And apologies and other posters also did too. I believed Bloom. And it appears i was very mistaken.

To be fair . It was said by Bloom (or rather reported by the Argus ) and i believed him. Well you would wouldn't you. He's a honest bloke. And then i reminded others on here , including SB who didn't believe a word of a it, a fair few times. Sorry. And then First chance Bloom gets , that all...

I was one of them. Because Tony Bloom had explicitly said otherwise. Lesson learned.

its rare isn't it but The (non) signing of Raphael Dwamena was pretty similar with, from the Swiss side at least, endless statements, quotes, and dramatics being played out in public and the local and African press.

Of course and i've no idea if they will secure the signing, work permit for Tau. I'm just assuming it wouldn't have got to this stage without a confident understanding that it will go ahead given the advice they will have sought. As for USG being a feeder club, clearly there's nothing anyone...

[Albion] Percy Tau - SIGNED on a 4 year deal - The Lion Returns. RRROOOAAAARRRRR

Fair enough. So either, Bloom not known for lack of business nous has just made an investment that "makes absolutely no sense" or as a football owner where he stands out as a transparent and honest owner in a questionable industry to say the least, has been lying about his intentions here...

[Albion] Percy Tau - SIGNED on a 4 year deal - The Lion Returns. RRROOOAAAARRRRR

Yep. A good plan. But to be fair Its been reported multiple times that there will be no football link between USG and the Albion. Its purely a business investment from Bloom and completely separate is whats been argued (presumably from the horse's mouth). Nobody on NSC seems to quite believe...

They think its all over...It is Tau. (well maybe) Unusual report of Albion source talking to press about a transfer. "But the deal now stands at a crucial juncture‚ according to a representative of the English Premier League club‚ who did not want to be named but has‚ on Wednesday‚ been...
