Fair play for being bothered to bookmark them all and come back!
No problem in being wrong on this occasion but it’s only really happened because of Brexit... but let’s not get lost down that particular avenue shall we! :vuvu::vuvu:
He’s looked a bit average for Anderlecht so far - but then if what I’ve read is accurate he’s being played in midfield.
So far Kompany doesn’t seem to have got them firing particularly well.
I’m not sure, even if Brexit happens, he’s the answer.
Well I’d say making the jump from South Africa to a European top division and then playing in the Champions League represents quite a benchmark.
I’d suggest he potentially wouldn’t cut it in the Prem and would likely be sold if a thing such as a transfer market existed.
This.
Not this.
“Mr Tau, we’d like to buy you but are fully aware you may not qualify to play in England for the duration of your stated contract however we can guarantee you 4 x your existing wage and that you’ll play in Europe, initially in a second division team but hopefully thereafter a...
From what perspective? In this case the player gets a move to Europe probably triples or quadruples his wages and puts himself in the shop window to potentially get a move to a higher European league where he may triple or quadruple his wage again.
If that works for him it also works for the...
No mistake. Part of the plan. It’s a business pure and simple. Do you really think based on his Belgian div 2 exploits he’d pull up trees in the Prem? No. So why sign him? Possible profit.
Like it or lump it we’re in the Chelsea loanee game now.
How could we have loaned him to a higher profile league if there were no offers? I’m fairly sure this was always the intended path.
It’s a clear TB business decision to me but I understand how others might view it differently.
I think TB was 100% clear with PT, his agent etc. In this...
How many times? ITS A BUSINESS TRANSACTION.
Always never likely to play for us. ‘Shine’ in Belgium, maybe get them promoted or into Europa League and then perhaps another slightly bigger European club homes sniffing and who knows maybe we double our money on him. That’s the model.
I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt here and assume the semantics of your post have something to do with sausage fingers and an inappropriate grasp of technology rather than grammatical ignorance but are you genuinely suggesting TB DIDNT purchase the Belgian club with his own money?

Erm. This signing won’t allow that to happen. Club email - loaned out next season. See posts #1 to this one as to why....
