You put infrastructure in place first. This whole development is about greed. Pure and simple.

During construction I’d imagine the A27 will go down to one lane whilst they build the roundabout. All because of the greed to line some peoples pockets. If the Lancing and Worthing had a proper bypass, I’d be all in favour.

Will really feel for commuters stuck on A27 during and after it is constructed if the deal goes through. A27 is dreadful as it is and this will make it worse.

You have to wonder as well about all the disruption to motorists on the A27 whilst they build it all. Got to factor in at least 18 months of unbearable disruption on A27 during rush hour.

To be fair though I guess you can cut through new housing development to get to Lancing to avoid the roundabout further up. Could be a useful rat run

If the A27 was improved I’d be happy for an Ikea. I just don’t want to spend an extra 40 mins stuck in traffic, just to allow a few locals to buy a bloody Billy Bookcase. Without the bypass, please reject the Ikea and get rid of the junction at the sussex pad

Some good news. Parish council has rejected the proposals. Hopefully whole thing will be thrown out next month.

Exactly. The impact of works on the A27 and after completion are just not worth the hassle to all those that have to queue on A27 every rush hour. Right now you often queue back to Holmbush. This will only make it worse for god knows how long. Now if Worthing and Lancing had a proper bypass...

Exactly. It will mean more traffic. If a roundabout was the answer to reduce congestion, they would have put one in ages ago. The Albion should be about community football. Not lining pockets.

Do you live in area? Do you spent upwards of an hour a day stuck in traffic on the A27? The club will do just fine without this development.

I've objected. The A27 is terrible as it is and replacing traffic lights with a roundabout will make no difference.
