Ikea were part of a larger development and had bought the land from the developers. The development is the reason for the changed road system. The development is still going ahead so will the road changes.

According to the Argus article Ikea had already bought the land so it is up to Ikea to sell it.

Would love that to happen! The Ikea site is just going to end up as more housing or be split up for other retailers so would much prefer a smaller stadium there.

Compared to Brighton and Hove prices they are bargains. Also pretty sure this isn't the main development and is a separate additional development. Or if it is part of it it's set apart from the rest and isn't part of the main site:

That's a separate thing. Yes the training ground has works going on. But also the rest of Monks Farm has ground works going on to prepare it for the houses, school and shops. You can see the new development preparations from the A27.

This is what I'm anticipating with the Monks Farm development proposals: the development will actually sort a lot of the traffic problems along there out.
