It takes about 30 seconds. It is only £4 though ...... I've saved multiples of that by using Uber. As for 'proper taxis', you do know that all Uber drivers are fully licenced taxi drivers ? Not sure how they aren't proper taxis but you carry on paying excessive fares for an inferiour product...
Nope, you just have to claim it.
Here's how :

Tap Your Trips.
Select the trip you wish to dispute.

And there in lies the problem in many places. I went to Amsterdam at the beggining of November. Caught a cab from the airport to our hotel - big mini-bus type - cost 48 Euros. While there I thought I'd see if Uber would work - it did. Hotel to airport using Uber - 27 Euros ..... in a spotless...
I don't know whether you've spotted the option yet but on the Uber app you can now pay for a family members fare if they get stuck somewhere and track them in the Uber. Gives myself and Mrs W peace of mind when Miss W is out.
News that might upset Herr Tubthumper ....... Uber have just had their B&H licence renewed by a Judge for five years. Local firm rep Steve McNamara isn't happy
Hang on - we keep being told by local taxi firms how good the Brighton training is - why should I as a customer have to direct a driver to the most efficient route ? Alledgedly it's what THEY are trained to do. Which begs the question - if they try and rip off locals what hope do tourists have...
I do indeed have a 'choice' - problem being that all the local firms are run along the same lines and are having to be dragged into the 21st Century kicking and screaming.
Put aside the problems I've had with Streamline, I prefer the service I get from Uber. The app always works and is...
How can service standards be improved if there is no competition ? Streamline had no app until Uber came along - they were forced into playing catch up. Uber takes the fare from your card automatically - Streamline don't. In fact I used Streamline a couple of weeks ago as there were 5 of us...
Here's my prediction. HT will mention out of town drivers taking money out of the local economy - despite many drivers living in B&H. Of course HT doesn't use any non-local companies at all. He'll then mention a race to the bottom but will not take into account the appalling service Streamline...
Indeed. GDPR could be fun for the local firms. Remember folks the taxi firm will have to ask you explictly if they can hold your phone number and say what they want to do with it.
