I will admit it's close.. and the run in will decide it for all of us. It's healthy to have this debate now so we can judge each player as objectively as possible from now on.
This is the potential that has led to him being probably pound for pound the most influential player in the Premier League this season? I think he's realised quite a bit of that potential. If you want to talk about unrealised potential, perhaps we should shift our discussion onto Solly March.
Ryan (in most people's opinion) had a shaky start. Duffy had a real dip in confidence and form quite recently, and people were clamouring for Goldson to replace him. Dunk, yes, he's been consistent all season, so he makes the cut. The other 2 fail the 'Large One' consistency test.
Went for Gross - he's is the driver of everything we do going forward. Even during our poor run he was still the hardest worker on the team.
It was close though as Murray, Ryan, Dunk, Bong and Stephens have also been excellent for the majority of the time.
