Might as well end this thread with Dunk being the best centre back in England then and Southgate f..ucking up and no need for Dunk or our coaching staff trying to improve on our defending of crosses.
Well that does cover it. I cannot believe the experience we have within our coaching that they do not plan for all this. Of course there is the undefendable ball in but that hasn’t been every time we’ve conceded on these fronts is it ? The players must therefore in my opinion just be a tad short...
A centre half who loses his man as regularly as Dunk does is unlikely to figure in the national side. He’s a wonderful player who has improved no end but his failure - and to be honest it’s Brightons as much as him - to defend corners and set pieces will cost him I think.
