If anything the ref was pro Eubank. There was at least one knock down in that fight imo and possibly two which the ref ignored. There was nothing Groves was doing in the hold that was illegal he was legitimately tying junior up on the ropes when he was charging in like an amateur and CEJ had...
It’s really not. Mayweathers career was built on fighting on the back foot, not getting hit, and landing tactically. Groves absolutely dominated that fight and completely embarrassed Eubank tonight.
Oh dear you have demonstrated you have no idea about boxing. Groves took Eubank to absolute school tonight and fought exactly the fight he needed to win with complete ease. Masterclass from George.
You can watch it on your TV if you have Sky, Virgin Media, or a Playstation. If not you are going to need to watch on a laptop/tablet. Once you've registered its pretty easy.
The only fight Groves ever gassed in really was the Froch fight? He managed to win a points decision against DeGale and was arguably robbed on points against Badou Jack and that was with a very poor trainer. I don't think he was ever in any bother v Cox.
Meet Sergey Rozvadovskij: The Man Who Sparred George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr
Few men can say they have shared a ring with both George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr. But Sergey Rozvadovskij has sparred the pair for years.
OF all the boxers I’ve ever seen spar, none have been tougher than...
I think he's saying that George has to show that he can keep the fight on the outside with his jab and not get drawn into a war on the inside. If it starts with Jr dictating the pace and GG unable to stem it can only see the fight going one way. I do think Groves jab will be the difference...
Groves is serious levels above anyone that Eubank has beat. I think his experience and power will get him through this one but its very close. I also worry that CEJs refusal to take any advice during a fight could be his undoing. Should be an absolute cracker though and could go wither way.
