How many ST holders actually turned up for the Stoke match though? 3 out of the 4 in my family didn't go.

This thread has got so long I probably have posted this already- If this match had been today or Saturday and the match wasn't on TV I'm sure many more fans would now have bought tickets.
Blame TV football not the fans that are not attending.
This is exactly what TV companies that show football want, they have created the armchair fan and they are getting it.
I'm near the front of the WSU, good view of what's happening all over the pitch. Not sure what the view of the pitch is like from further back in the WSU.

As you mean anywhere that I can buy a ticket, probably the North Stand, I have had a season ticket and the same seat in the Amex from day 1, and that is in WSU.
Instead of Palace fans coming to Brighton early doors and drinking, why not drink in Croydon and then catch the train and arrive in Brighton later and go straight to the stadium.

Football matches being moved from weekends for TV has ruined the game for ticket buying fans ( I know this match is on a Monday for other reasons as well as TV)
But I can see some fans saying " if you can't beat them, join them" and watch matches on the box rather than take time off work and get...
